Thanks so much hugoces! Happy new year to you !
Wow! that is a great map! Great job with the speed bumps, they’re all seem much lower than before and to top it all, it’s compatible with CTC. Can’t wait to see more of this mod. Thanks!
So this does work with the coast 2 coast? An also do we keep the coast 2 coast mod or get rid of that download this?
Thank you for this mod, i look forward to getting on this!
only complaints about this mod is the speed limits, it’s a constant 55mph, when many sections on the road should be either 35-40mph since getting trucks through the curvy sections of road is often only possible at 40+ by swinging into the the opposite lane, and the extreme ammount of random speed bumps on the main roads, again marked as 55mph
Another speed issue is the west-side freeway in San Diego, with the border crossing with Tijuana, the whole freeway north of the border is limited at 20 instead of 55. Got slammed with a $1800 ticket because I thought it was going to be 55.
towns show up in mexico but no roads on the map
also think that in the next update that you could add in more rest areas, like on the side of the road in pull off areas of on the side of on off ramps, it’d really give more to the flavor of being an american trucker plus i always find myself really pulling for time to get to the next rest area where you arrive minutes left before you get fined for not sleeping. so those roadside sleep areas would come in handy.
o man this looks so cool whoever did this did a much better job on the map than the original game. must of been a lot of work? how much does this cost? how do I get it? ps I’m pretty computer stupid. so any help would be nice. thanks
Bill, click download, download the file (it’s free), then go to your Documents folder. Go to American Truck Simulator. Click on that file. You will see a folder on top that says mods. Click on this and open it. Go to your downloads, then drag and drop this into the mod folder. Close everything, open ATS and go to Mods on the game launch screen. Enable the mod and enjoy the map. Everything here on modsats.com is 100% free. No one charges for anything, which is why this and one other site (not listing in case this isn’t allowed) are so awesome. I check them daily for new mods to use once I get off the road and want to unwind from actual driving by….well…..virtually driving. Lol
if you could get the roads to show up that would be grand. and i dint do much driving on it but there is a road to corpus Texas that ends in a dead in a back road style road would go great with like a dirt road even. there is not any in the current game and it would be a great addition.
Make sure you’re not running 1.6. It will crash it.
Does it simulate broken Mexican trucks as well? 🙂
Why is this map an exe file? I didn’t install it as Webroot says Malware
