When will the ATS be released? (Leaching hot dates)!
All the ATS fans have one main question: What is an official American Truck Simulator release date?
We all expected that ATS release date will be August 10, 2015. But after the interview with ATS CEO the release date wasn’t settled.
We tried to contact the ATS team to get the official date and here’s the answer we received:
Hello,
We are still working on the American Truck Simulator. Please take note that the release date of “stage 1” of the project is still not settled, we still have work to do. Any release date you see published on the Internet is pure speculation coming from distributors or merchants.
So as you can see in an official ATS page the date is set as: TBA (To be announced).
Still we didn’t give up and also got in touch with an official American Truck Simulator distributor “Excalibur Publishing” that SCS Software works with. And here is another a bit more specific answer about the release date:
American Truck Simulator has not got a fixed release date – we are being told December time now.
Does it mean we can expect the American Truck Simulator release date is December? We hope so!
What is more, the ATS team provided us with some more interesting information:
If we will not release ATS until next E3, and we will find proper partner in USA (our company is located in Czech Republic), we will do our best to appear at next E3. But we would love to have ATS to released long before E3.
As you all know the next E3 will be in June, 2016. So it would be a little sad for all of us to wait until then…
